Our story
We came to the Atacama and stayed.
We believe the most important moments happen when we slow down. That good conversations strengthen our bonds. And that a trip can be much more than getting to know a new place.
On The Road was born from this way of living the Atacama: the wish to share with others an experience that is more human, more contemplative and built around the traveler.
Guide and holistic therapist
Carol
Guide and certified ThetaHealing therapist. Carol was born in Chile but grew up in Rio de Janeiro. A single visit to the Atacama was enough for her to fall in love with the energy, the awakening and the connection this place offers people. From that moment came the inspiration to create a tour agency with a clear purpose: to offer tours rooted in local knowledge and holistic practices, such as meditation and moments of connection with this very special place.
When someone arrives tired and sits in silence before the desert, something settles on its own. My job is to hold that moment.
Adventure guide
Cris
Certified mountain guide, with a passion for nature and personal growth. When he first came to the Atacama, he was captivated by its energy and culture, which led him not only to found a tour agency that would pass on these values, but also to stay in San Pedro, where he has now lived for more than 7 years.
Today, as every day, he sets out to show each visitor a San Pedro de Atacama that’s different from the usual one, sharing his geological, ancestral and cultural knowledge of every place you choose to visit.
The desert isn’t conquered; it’s learned. I just know the way, and the right moment to stop.
