The complete journey, one day at a time.

1. 1

   Day 1

   • 7:30 am ‧ Departure from Hotel in San Pedro

     We start in San Pedro de Atacama, where we pick you up at your accommodation to head to the border with Bolivia and begin our adventure.

   • Border with Bolivia ‧ Meeting with your Guide

     Once at the border we meet who will be your tour guide throughout the experience, a local guide from the sector who will teach you better than anyone the secrets that Uyuni hides. From here we continue our trip in a 4x4 vehicle adapted to the land conditions of the area.

   • Polques Hot Springs + Lunch

     Our first stop in Bolivian territory is at the Polques Hot Springs, natural hot water pools located in the middle of the high plateau, surrounded by volcanoes and an unparalleled landscape. These hot springs are part of the Eduardo Avaroa Andean Fauna National Reserve, so it is normal to see flamingos and Andean birds while you rest in hot waters.

   • Heading to the Uyuni Salt Flats

     During the afternoon, we head to our main destination: Salar de Uyuni. Upon arrival we settle into our Hotel that has a privileged view of the Salt Flats. We spent the night here.

2. 2

   Day 2

   • Tomorrow in Colchani

     We begin early in the morning visiting Colchani, a place where we will learn how they extract and manufacture the famous salt obtained from the Salar de Uyuni.

   • Local Crafts (optional stop)

     We take a walk through craft stalls, where you will find the most beautiful souvenirs of your trip handmade by locals in the area. We give you time so you can do your shopping with peace of mind, or if you prefer we skip this stop and travel directly to the next destination.

   • Uyuni Salt Flats: Incahuasi Island + Lunch

     We visited Isla Incahuasi, or in Quechua, La Casa del Inca. Here we will enjoy a rocky oasis with ancient cacti that exceed 10 meters in height, located right in the middle of the Salar de Uyuni.

   • Sunset in the salt flat

     We tour the beautiful mirror landscape of the Salar de Uyuni. We stop to enjoy a delicious cocktail with local wine and watch the sunset in the middle of the salt flat, calmly and in no hurry to return to our hotel.

3. 3

   Day 3

   • Heading to the City of Villamar

     We headed to Villamar, a picturesque town in the heart of the highlands, to settle in at the Mallku Cueva Hotel. This fascinating refuge is literally built inside an immense rock formation. This accommodation combines the magic of living in a cave with the comfort level of a first-class hotel. A true oasis surrounded by nature that does not give up maximum well-being, offering air-conditioned environments, wi-fi and a restaurant for a stay as comfortable as it is memorable.

4. 4

   Day 4

   • Return to San Pedro de Atacama

     We have a very early breakfast at the Hotel to begin our return trip, where we will make tourist stops to enjoy the landscape.

   • Bolivian Altiplano + Lunch

     On the way to the border with Chile, we unhurriedly enjoyed the Bolivian highlands and its most beautiful tourist destinations: San Cristóbal de Lípez, Lost Italy, Salar de Capina and Laguna Colorada.

   • Return to Chile

     We arrived at the border crossing with Chile during the afternoon. We go directly to your hotel so you can rest from such an extraordinary trip.
