This tour takes place only during the summer, when the days are longer and allow you to enjoy the sunset at one of the most impressive viewpoints in the region. We begin the experience leaving the hotel around 3:00 pm, heading towards Laguna Cejar, famous for its waters with approximately eight times more salt than the sea, providing a unique floating experience. After enjoying the lagoon in peace, we continue towards the Licancabur Viewpoint, located at approximately 3,800 meters of altitude. From there we contemplate the sunset with a privileged view of the Licancabur Volcano, the Andes Mountains and the immensity of the desert, closing the day in an unforgettable environment and a delicious local cocktail and national wine. Return to the hotel is around 9:00 pm.
The tour begins during the afternoon, when temperatures are usually highest, but ends after sunset, when it is quite cold and temperatures can drop below 0°C. Therefore, we recommend carrying a backpack with extra clothes to warm up before continuing to the viewpoint.
